Conciousness

Neurones are excitablecells due to a potential difference across the cell mambrane.  Increasing the intracellular potassium concentration causes the neurone to fire an action potential such as that seen before the contraction of the heart. 

Similarly neurones that regulate breathing in the brain stem are in a constant fluctuation of firing and resting.  Theseelectrical fluctuation effect neighbouring neurones and cause them to depolarise and fire and action potential.  This is called cross talk and I believe is the substrate of consciouasness.

Thus, consciousness is a bi-product of nervous action potentials originating either in the the heart or respiratory centre in the brain stem.

Burn the house down

If the government has no plans for a disused building - they just burn it down to give the fire fighter some real world training and the police a chance to question those kids that are always hanging around and beeing anti-social.

Traffic Carming

How do you carm drivers caught in slow moving traffic?

Send an ambulance with sirens and lights through.  This ensures the drivers take a break from beeping at each other and that they are able to allow the emergency services through (a fire drill for driver).

Basic Policing

A police car with flashing lights and siren or [more effectivley] helicopter is despatched, causing alarm and arousing interest in the neighbourhood and an urge for them to take the dog for [another] walk.  Before you know it it seems that the whole neighbourhood is out in the street without their dogs but [unusually] grouped together talking and looking at the dog walker [as if in an ideal neighbourhood].

I have a home office network running Debian GNU/Linux on all machines.  Using Ettercap and Wireshark I have been able to snif packets between my girlfriends computer and the router as she browsed the internet.

Jehovah's Witnesses

I have had my first discussion with two Jehovah's Witnesses today.

It was very interesting as I was informed that the eye is a miracle of engineering in that like a camera it has an auto focus function that requires no thought by the user and if like a camera it where left lieing around, to the observer it would seem that a creator had engineered it.

I commented that I could not believe in nor not believe in a creator as the link between man and ape was missing although evolution is a strong contender.

We agreed to disagree on different views and that they would put a leaflet through the door when passing and I would talk to other Jehovah's Witnesses.

Track Maintainance

I went to my mams for Sunday dinner today.  On the way their seen a sexy women walking down the steps who gained the attention of passing drivers and in the same place at the end of Albion bridge I seen a bloke in an electric wheel chair coming up the hill to cut me off at the steps!  I thought nothing of it at the time but hind sight is beautiful and it dawned on me at the railway crossing when I had to stand for a while waiting for track maintainance engine to pass.

I was talking to Deborah who had got off the bus and wrongly mistook the maintainance engine for a metro train but aroused the attention of some women stood next to me!

News of the World ends on 7/7

Is it not coincidental that the News of the World announces its end on the sixth anniversary of 7/7 London bombings and the day before the final launch of NASA's space shuttle program?

News rooms have reported the end of the world for the paper with no mention of 7/7 - a subtle move away from the past you ask?

Of course, its all old news and not much more to say so lets not dwell on the past and after all the news paper may have ties with the events of 7/7 bombings as they like a scandal and now we have had all of the 7/7 hearings its time to tidy up after ourselves.

Litter Picker

Got nabbed for picking up a litter picker yesterday.  It was lying on the floor in ASDA and I thought I'd have it - it turned out that it belonged to ASDA as the security guard came running after me.

Wouldn't care but he gave me a dodgy look as I walked in now he thinks I,m a thief!!!

My cat has fleas and I am sure they are crawling all over me!!!!

A guy was working scanning barcodes but unknown to him a p600 wave was broadcast when he read the human readable element of the code and was received by the hand held device and uploaded to remote terminal where his location was tracked before he even pressed a button.

when working in a factory

I started working in a factory on 9th June 2011.  It was an easy job.  Put-away items - not to difficult.

Day 1 learn how to use a scanner to scan the barcode of an article and put it away in a location with designated barcode.

Day 2 put into practice what you have leaned in day 1. Done.

Day 3 Make sure you can put day 1 and day 2 together.

Day 4 Crack on.

There will be no day 5 as it would transpire that the last four days were a training exercise for the security guards and a new team leader - you are a guinea pig!

What did you learn though?

1. when at work do not talk about work its a taboo subject.
2. do as you are told do not speak as everything you say is wrong.
3. do not try to talk to employees or employers in the break as you are after all there to follow instructions.
4. scanners will seem to take awhile to accept a barcode so that you become frustrated and do not meet key performance indicators and are thus wrong.

Kitten

Got my girlfriends friends kitten call Nevaeh last night.

It disapeared up the chimney all night came out this morning to meet the other two cats of my girlfriend.  Nevaeh spent sometime stalking Louie and Tabather is not pleased to meet her with constant hissing.

Government's welfare to work scheme launched

The government's new work scheme has begun, with ministers promising it will give 2.4 million unemployed people help to find jobs over the next five years.

Started Work

Started work as a laborer at Burberry warehouse coniston road blyth.  I started scanning material for drop in to storage with a wireless scanning gun.  Take home message is o remember to F6 to drop material.

Augmented Reality

Augmented reality is boring when it is movie posters coming to life to advertise a movie trailer.  But, how about a pair of glasses or sunglasses for the names Bond that display the name, address, curriculum vitae and all other information on an rfid' individual.  Then you can go up to someone and say "hello Joe, So whats it like in the spy business?"

Is religious belief due to hunger?

For the last Severn years or so I have lived alone with very little money.  During times of no food I have eaten rice with fingers and could not help but imagine that this is how the Tibetan Buddhist Monks would be sat meditating and eating rice with their fingers and following their belief rituals.

Now I live with my partner and although on the same money I am somewhat better off.  I am able to eat rice with a fork and talk to my partner about my thoughts on religion which is a great relief.

However, there have been times when we have had little food in due to outstanding debts.  It is then that I begin to look to faith for answers.  But, when my hunger is appeased I become more logical in thinking and have become to believe that maybe religious beliefs originated from times of starvation.  This makes sense when drought would mean no crop and the people would pray to the Gods or perform rain dances for the rains to come.
Therefore, psychology is determined by physiology which can be manipulated intern.

There was no pilice or flashing lights near but alot of dog walkers decided it wastime to take the dog for a sniff!

Was it a pilice training exercise or a dog walking exercise under the spot light?

Osama Bin Laden Dead

Special extended news coverage of the killing of Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden by U.S. Navy Seal Team Six has been on all day.

He is reported by the BBC to have been shot in the head by U.S. special forces  in a mansion in Abbottabad, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.


And now Al Qaeda will almost certainly seek revenge according to Sky News!

the royal wedding

today was the day of the wedding of william and kate.  everyone must have stayed in to watch it as the streets where quiet for a change.  I watched it then went to stevens to watch the yogi bear film which was ok - liked the frog mouthed turtle - cute idea!

On way back spotted tompa pas in his estate and a reporter helicopter pass over south beach.

Shop Watch

I was shopping at Asda Blyth today and whilst picking up the biggest shop spend ever noticed two faces which seemed to be constantly a step behind or in front and getting the same as what I was getting!!!!!!!

I always suspected this and now know what shop watch means lol.

mines a doner wrap

walked to my niece's yesterday to give her her birthday card and present; was stopped by a taxi driver and asked for directions to Clover Court to which I replied I did not know (I have never heard of it and it does not exist in Blyth according to Google Maps) and continued on my jaunt; I followed the exact route back hoping that history would repeat it self and that I would have another bizarre encounter - it would not be until I got outside The Newsham that a face approaching to which I vagly recognised said "hello Chris" and repeated by his followers!

All had passed and I was washing dishes waiting for my girlfriend to come home from a forensic science course with a doner wrap when I watch a Sea King search and rescue helicopter approaching and pass over head.

Suits Me

Last night I had dreams of doing a computer course...

I felt the need to wear a suit to sign on today.  Whent down Blyth to sign on in a suit provided by the Jobcentre and was confronted by a police car outside poets corner and persuaded to gaze at a chopper in the distance which crossed right over me at the Jobcentre.  It was quite inside today and no jobs on the computer to apply to so left empty handed.

On the way back passed two ladies with badges round their neck!!!

Got back to find interview request for IT course!!!!

...and my girlfriend had an interview at 18:50 tonight for a print cartridge online company!!!!

Effects of Caffeine

Caffeine was ingested through drinking coffee and the affects noted:

Immediatly following a drink of coffee a sense of welbeing passes over like fresh air in the hair.  Oncer the cup of coffee is finished thirst for more coffee is evident, heart rate and breathing increase causing a fidgityness and a need to do activities such as house work which if not done result in rambling thoughts and talkitivness, gonadal engourgment with errection and rumbling stomach and hunger.  There is noticible need to urinate and pass watery stools and nasal congestion and mod swings.

There is noticeable deepening of the voice probably because of relaxed vocal cords and an increase in attention span and the well known need not to sleep!!!

But when you do get to sleep expect to have bizarre dreams and promiscuity seems normal behaviour!!!


However it is very difficult to wake up in the morning and a coffee seems to be the only drive to get up in the morning and see you through the day.


Caffeine is therefore a habitual drug that causes dependency and a caffeine psychosis!!

I caught my gorgeous neighbour opposite my sitting room window looked up at my window as she stepped out of the car!

I have seen her twice before as I have put out the bin and brought in the cat.

Lonliness

When we are alone we look for comfort in others.  But if we do not have comfort in others we get it from our memories of others.  When we exhaust our memories we then start thinking and gaining comfort from our thoughts and ideas which are usually of a religious or conspiracy nature.  This is our deepest need to be with someone.  Even if there is nothing to talk about there face stimulates the nerves of the brain areas that satisfy our comfort.

So is faces all there is to reality?

As nothing else matters when you have a gorgeous face before you!

Spy Bird

Could a bird be used as a spy?

Birds fly and land everywhere.  They can sit on a roof top or window ledge and peer into the windows opposite.

So it would make sense to control a simple bird brain and relay what they see wirelessley through the mobile network to a computer!

Accidents do Happen

On 21st February 2011 I had arranged with my girlfriends granddad to take furniture from my vacant address to the tip. Although I had not heard from him all morning I had to go to the jobcentre to sign on at 12:51 and left at 12:00. I was walking up Princess Louise Road when he passed and beeped me over. I went over to his concern on why my girlfriend had not answered his calls and answered she had just got up and found the missed calls on her mobile that was left in her coat pocket out of reach. Saying that I now had to go and sign on and that I would be an hour or so, I would help with the tip jaunt as soon as, and left him to turn and go to his granddaughters.

I signed on as required, changed my address with the banks and library, picked up some shopping and headed home.

I was walking back up Princess Louise Road near the Isabella when my girlfriend phoned me to see where I was. I told her I was on my way back with shopping and she said that she had nearly emptied my old flat of junk for the tip in her sarcastic girly manner. She declined any help saying that there was just the wardrobe to put in the trailer, so I said I could drop the shopping off and help out but she declined.

I got back, had a bite to eat, sat round for a bit and then decided to go help out.

I was heading through Newsham Farm Estate and about to navigate between the postie and a chav when my phone rang. It was my girlfriend.

In floods of tears she told me that her granddad had had an accident and had been taken to hospital by ambulance.

I then legged it through the estate to my flat to find the wardrobe lay on its side in the middle of the main entrance.

With no blood I assumed to be a miner accident and went to my mams to change my details over the phone with the water board.

On the way back I decided to pop by a neighbour of the flat and ask if they had seen what happened. She said that two ambulances arrived and took a man away on the stretcher in a neck brace and a girl in hysterics took the car and trailer.

My girlfriend later told me that they were both taking the wardrobe down stairs (granddad at the bottom leading the way and she at top holding and guiding the wardrobe). However she was told that he had control and to let go in doing so she pulled her shoulder and he fell back on to the floor from the 5th or 6th step smashing his skull on a solid tiled floor.

In hindsight I seen a funeral precession leave the parlour in Blyth - where a girl on a bike mentioned it was her friends and she had missed it; and a director in a blacked out transit leaving an address on Princess Louise Road near the railway crossing!!!

He was taken to Wansbeck General Hospital by Ambulance and then transferred that evening to the Royal Victoria Infirmary where he was heavily sedated, scanned and placed in Intensive Therapy on a ventilator machine.

He had massive swelling and bleeding on the brain that would later require an operation to remove clots and brain tissue.

This did not help his brain tissue was destroyed.

His machine was switched off on Tuesday 1st March 2011 at 18:00.

He died 22:45 Thursday 3rd March 2011 and I attended his funeral at 10:30 11 March 2011.

was sitting writing an application and preminised my girlfriend would pop over and she did minutes later with an application in her hand to move in together.how bizzare. what makes it worse is that i read that toploader wld be playing at willowman and comes and says toploader are playing she doesnt even know i like them until now!!!! trippy world we live in. maybe we are all interconnected through the ether web. quantum mechanics would suggest a global consciouses - a huge mind!!
