Special extended news coverage of the killing of Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden by U.S. Navy Seal Team Six has been on all day.
He is reported by the BBC to have been shot in the head by U.S. special forces in a mansion in Abbottabad, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
And now Al Qaeda will almost certainly seek revenge according to Sky News!

the royal wedding
today was the day of the wedding of william and kate. everyone must have stayed in to watch it as the streets where quiet for a change. I watched it then went to stevens to watch the yogi bear film which was ok - liked the frog mouthed turtle - cute idea!
On way back spotted tompa pas in his estate and a reporter helicopter pass over south beach.

irony
what are the chances on finding out that Monday was a weird day - to learn that in the early hours of Tuesday morning a 24 year old was stabbed and died outside the windmill grove flats!
